Comfort Blue Essence

This lovely plant grows in a courtyard garden adjoining a pilgrim centre for women and has lent its help and wisdom to them over the years. The buds emerge from a beautiful sculptured and highly decorative leaf structure. It is both beautiful and supportive, giving the feeling of the great care with which the plant kingdom has fashioned this particular bud and flower. All is order and support; nothing is left to chance here. Out of this beautiful casing, emerges the bud for this strong sky blue flower, it is nourished and guarded. 

This lovely intense blue flower brings down to earth comfort and care to children. The feeling here is of the divine feminine aspect of God, and it contains much wisdom, knowing, and love. Our children need to know and feel the love of God within themselves and many of them will pine for such contact. When children focus on the outside world, it is easy for them to become fixated on it, forgetting their inner world. When there is a problem for them, they need to be put back in touch with the divine aspect within themselves and this is where this essence helps. Human love is often not enough, for parents and those caring for children are not always aware of their deepest needs, only their more human ones. A busy parent does not always have time to give too much focus to their offspring. Children who feel that they do not fit in with this world, feeling as if they do not belong, would benefit from this essence, as it will give them the knowing that they are loved and cared for. 

When looking into this flower its hidden depths can be sensed. Through it children are assisted to become aware of their quiet place within, where they can switch off from the hustle and bustle of life, and find that inner peace that is always there for them. A child can be encouraged to relax before sleep, giving 1 drop of the essence in their bedtime drink and then guide them in a short meditation, or give them a foot massage using a body lotion with a drop of the essence in it. My image for this essence is of a wise mother wearing an intense blue robe bringing comfort, care, wisdom and guidance to children. She is very practical and seems to know exactly which type of medicine is required for each one who calls upon her. This wise woman presence knows about life, and the journey of each little soul, and is able to help to iron out their difficulties. This essence calls her into being to assist.

The blessings from this essence do not end with children, as it is equally helpful for teenagers and adults.
