Indigo Songflower Essence

Indigo Songflower - deep healing of emotional pain, balancing and calming, improving and uplifting speech, opening up speech from the heart.

These gorgeous deep velvety purple flowers are part of a low spreading bush with prolific leaf growth. The flowers have a yellow centre and are elongated giving a trumpet like appearance. The petals only partially divide at the outer edge. They are dotted amongst the leaves like lanterns calling out to be seen.

The beautiful deep indigo purple colour of the petals signifies deep healing. It is a colour that takes us inwards, to rest and recuperate when our systems have become overactive and fragile. It calms the nervous system when it has had too much stimulation. Children and young people often get over stimulated and too excited and this is when Songflower can be very useful as it has the effect of being wrapped in a soft, gentle purple blanket bringing calm and peace to their young systems.  When the system is calmed, the heart centre can regain its balance and true joy can once again be present.

There is another aspect to this flower and that is that it is very aligned with the throat and speech.
